[It surprises her a little when he actually lets her hit him. After all he could have easily grabbed her wrist and stopped her. Or broken said wrist in the process. But he doesn't. He simply allows it to happen.]

What do you think I've been trying to do?

[It's not that she doesn't know she could do better -- it had simply been easier to stay in that cycle of breaking up and getting back together with Yamcha. Like a routine, almost. But she finds herself wanting more than what is simply easy these days.]

[But it does seem to find ways to shake things up from time to time.

Not to mention she may have started tinkering with the computers and other electronics on the ship to see if she can upgrade them.]
