I was with him since I was sixteen, it's not like I was sleeping with a bunch of guys or anything. So yes, I would.

[Yeah, she's definitely going to try to slap him now -- granted doing so will probably hurt her more than it will him.]

Just because it got bad towards the end does not mean I have low standards!

[ he doesn't even flinch, but he does pay her the courtesy of keeping his ki low enough so his skin has some give and it's not quite like she's hitting a rock. had anyone else tried to slap him, he would've broken their arm. but bulma is allowed to hit her target and smack him across the face. ]

Then raise them.

[It surprises her a little when he actually lets her hit him. After all he could have easily grabbed her wrist and stopped her. Or broken said wrist in the process. But he doesn't. He simply allows it to happen.]

What do you think I've been trying to do?

[It's not that she doesn't know she could do better -- it had simply been easier to stay in that cycle of breaking up and getting back together with Yamcha. Like a routine, almost. But she finds herself wanting more than what is simply easy these days.]

[ she's the daughter of one of the richest men on her planet. he's a little surprised she doesn't have more worthy suitors lining up to court her and has instead endured the antics of that deplorable desert-dweller instead. ]

You make it sound so easy.

[It's not that she hasn't had other suitors but honestly? After the life she's lived? Regular guys are kind of boring. Maybe that says something about her that she feels that way but at least with Yamcha he had been a bandit at one point, had joined her and Goku on all those adventures.

It's better than someone who simply wants to date her because she's the Bulma Briefs.]

It ought to be.

[ the prince of all saiyans would've had suitable mates lined up for the courting had his world not been destroyed. her high position is something he actually somewhat understands. ]

It's not like I don't get offers -- but most of those men are boring. I've been going with Goku on adventures since I was a teenager -- I guess it's made me crave something more exciting.

[Not just settling for someone because they were rich or a good business alliance for her company.]

If your standard is Kakarot, raise it back up to Yamaguchi.

[ the face he's making is likely an unpleasant one. ]

Ew no, Goku is like a brother to me. I just meant -- I'm used to a level of excitement in my life, I guess.

[saiyan]

[ good. less of a reason to put his fist in goku's face -- not that it'll stop him from doing just that. once they get back to their world and this madness with the androids is over, he will fight goku and win. ]

And being transported to an alternate dimension isn't exciting?

That's one word for it. Sometimes the ship can get a little dull.

[But it does seem to find ways to shake things up from time to time.

Not to mention she may have started tinkering with the computers and other electronics on the ship to see if she can upgrade them.]
